Release of David’s New Album “Legacy” in the US

Thursday, June 14th, 2012 at 18:59

David’s new classical recording of Beethoven and Kreisler, Legacy, was released on June 5th on Decca, along with stand-alone concert DVD Legacy Live. Both represent David’s dual career, bridging his crossover repertoire with his classical career that began at age 9 when played his first symphony concerts, to later signing a deal with the prestigious Deutsche Grammophon label at 14. Landing at #1 on the top of the UK’s classical chart, Legacy also achieved platinum status in Germany, where it was the highest debut on the Pop Chart for a classical instrumental recording since the inception of that chart in 1962.

Some impressions of David’s recent TV/Radio appearances in the US, where Legacy debuts at #2 on the Classical Traditional Chart.

What a wonderful accidental discovery… I found you by searching Schubert Serenade. Almost fell out of my chair! Loved listening to you while creating art, I’m speechless!

HI David! I wish you would play in the Dallas/ Fort Worth Texas area! I would love to go to one of your concerts. I’m in my thirties and since I was a young child I could hear and imagine playing the violin. I’ve decided to do everything in life I have ever wanted to try, SO here I am just now learning to play. I am an artist and your music brought me back to life within my ART and music abilities ( lets see what I can create!) Nice to have someone my age doing something like this and loving it so much that you put your life on hold for perfection. I wish we were friends in the real world, we’d have so much fun :) Thank you and I’m so glad to have your music in my life! I can’t wait to see you in person!

    Lieber David,

spricht mich toll an.

    Nicole

    Hi David,
I have just lost my best friend…Jada, my dog, who died very suddenly due to cancer, a few days ago…Needless to say, I am having a hard time w/her death for a lot of reasons, but in searching for something due to her, I found your music thru ‘Flight Of The Bumblebee’ (she was such a busy bee) I just want to tell you that listening to your beautiful music tonight, is helping me feel so much more at peace, than I have felt in days….Your violin sounds like my heart is feeling, tremendous emotion…So a big hug and thank you for helping me cope with ‘my girl’ ❤ ❥J

I’m glad to know that David’s Legacy has been released in the US and has debuted at #2 on the Classical Charts. With David’s musical genius, however, I expect that it will reach #1 just as it did in the UK and Germany! I’m praying for your continued success in the US and all over the world, David! Hope you can come to Manila soon! I’ll be right here waiting for you! May I know if you have received that which I sent to your fanpost in Germany a couple of weeks ago? I would appreciate it if you could inform me. Thank you very much and more power to you! I love you!.
